Visual response to the relationship of the words me and you.

Antithesis / 2011.
Ian Anderson Brief: Renaming Ian Anderson
“As design is becoming more and more standardised and homogenised based on trends and styles, there is a need to break away from what is being dictated and prescribed - from the uniformed and the conventional. While others choose to follow, he chooses to go where he wants to go, in pursuit of new thoughts and experiences. While the rest focus on what is fashionable and what is sellable, he provides the alternative, the contrast - the counter-proposition. He is the direct opposite of the current movement that others choose to conform with. The change is a call for defiance and diversity. An encouragement to be different from what is perceived as the normal. Do not be afraid to stray from the collective. Defy the boundaries around you, in search of new directions and solutions. Every design should have a reason for existing. The important thing is the thinking above all, everything else is secondary. This is where Antithesis begins and Ian Anderson ends.”
